2020 Fibermax Caprock Classic
The 62nd annual FiberMax Caprock Classic will be held December 29th, 30th and 31st, 2020. The teams will be divided into big and small divisions for men and women.
Which teams are coming?
The 61st annual tournament had 90 teams from across Texas, Oklahoma, Canada and Australia. The tournament hosted a diverse set of teams from Wylie to Whiteface and McKinney to Morton that competed to have the opportunity to play in Gene Messer Auto Group Championship Night at Lubbock Christian University.
Who runs the tournament?
The Tournament is hosted by Lubbock Caprock AMBUCS, a local non-profit comprised of community volunteers. Funds raised from the FiberMax Caprock Classic are used to help people with disabilities. Find out more in the About Us tab or visit .

Media from across the state covers the tournament. Members participate in several interviews to inform the public about the tournament and why there is a tournament. Click here to see a short interview from KLBK in Lubbock.
Every year, a press conference is held before the tournament. Local media, coaches and tournament related personnel are invited. The 2018 press conference was held at the 50 Yard Line Steakhouse on December 20th.
TV, radio stations and newspapers cover the tournament extensively. The last several tournaments have been broadcast on a local Fox affiliate for Championship Night. Several of the games can be heard on internet radio. Click here or on the image to the left and see a news story about our tournament.
